Threw a P0217 code the other day, I know its decreased engine performance due to overheating. I was doggin on her pretty hard, so all it was, was a hot engine. Check engine light is gone, code is still present. Took it by AutoZone to clear it and came back w/ no codes. Just checking to see if if the engine is still in "limp" mode and how to clear if its stored.
