I have a ticking noise toward the left side of my motor seems like, it ticks all the time and starts to tick more the more throttle i give it, the truck starts and runs fine just has that ticking anyone know what it could be? i was thinking it was the valves but not for sure

Check your injector lines to make sure they are tight. Can you post a vid of the sound?

all of your exhaust components are on the left side could be a exhaust leak before you get worried check it out. Good luck

left side is usually defined as drivers side, left and right are from drivers seat point of view. left side should be intake side not exhaust. mines been ticking forever seems to be injector noise, its noticable in cab but thats only beacuse my steering shaft boot is nearly ripped apart so i just turn the radio up a little louder haha.

Check you NR4 injector fuel line clamp (8mm bolt head) blue plastic clamp that holds your fuel line going to the injector. If any of these are loose they will rattle around making the sound you describe and will eventually rub a pinhole in or crack your fuel line and spray high pressure fuel all over your engine compartment. This is a well documented failure and NR4 seems to be the one that is mostly affected. I just checked mine and they all took a turn or so to snug them up. Good luck and let us know when you find the source.
