so a friend of mine and i got the opportunity to do a little drag race here in town today and from a dead stop to full throttle it seems my truck quits fueling at 2k rpm's until it gets going. my friends truck doesnt do this but its a 2000 and mine is an 02 did they change something in 02 and is there a way to fix it maybe through my chip?

 

are you keeping enough fuel pressure to your vp pump?

 

you have "torque management" in that 02, he does not in his 00

 

plenty of fuel. is there a way to get rid of that?

 

A Smarty should take care of it. It has sub settings as well to adjust how much TM is reduced.
