I have a 99 ram 2500 diesel and every time i hook a brake controller up to my factory plug under the dash the box doesnt work when hooked to a trailer the light goes out when i hot the brake pedal and the trailer brakes lock up. When i use the gain slide on the box the light changes colors like it should.
