Looking for some ideas, my 02 while in gear has reved up a few times on me.
the first time in my driveway while in drive thankfully with my foot on the brake.
second time in someone elses driveway in reverse, thankfully foot on brake.
third time going to work cruising about 50 mph foot on fuel pedal.
last time in parking lot foot on brake.
when it happens its only for a split second but its full throttle! scared the crap outa me in the parking lot. When it happened going down the road it reved up a few times in a row then ran fine. All this happened in a span of about a month, very sporatic cant find any similarities.
Tranny just rebuilt 3-4 months ago, new apps a year ago.

In case anyone else has a similar problem I did the apps reset and so far so good! It was an intermittent problem though.
