Hi, I'm looking at a set of Lucas Prince of Darkness 50 hp fuel injectors and a set of BD injectors on Ebay. Does anyone have an opinion as to which are best for everyday driving or do you have any suggestions as to other brands? Also I run Veggie oil sometimes and am curious if that should have any effect on what injectors I should run? Thanks

 

PODs run dirty, I'd steer away from them. I haven't heard anything good or bad about BD, so I'd be cautious about them. DDP and SDX have good reports as well as some others. Choosing the right injector will depend on what you want to accomplish with your truck. A best of both worlds injector doesn't exist,,,,yet.

 

I've run both. Pods are horrible unless you like poor fuel mileage and people thinking you truck is broken because of the smoke. The BD's aren't much better. Mine were 4 hole and never got good fuel mileage. I went through two sets of the BD because of cracked tips running "exotic" fuels before I went back to stock sticks. I would look into SDX or something.
