do our trucks need oil in fuel?
12V's don't really need it since the injection pump is lubed by engine oil, the only pump to do so on all of the dodges (lucky us). However, the lift pump does get lubed by fuel and does enjoy a little dose of 2 stroke or biodiesel. Usually you just dump a quart in per fillup or 128:1. Our trucks are not finicky and will burn it in any ratio.
thats the great thing about owning a cummins... itll burn almost anything oil based... diesel oil used oil trans fluid brake fluid just about anything... now u might need to filter used fluid a little
however they will burn it

my bro puts about a quart in every fill up, says he gets better mileage and helps lube everything since all the pump diesel is ultra low sulfur crap

iv ran 80w oil to used filtered 15-40 rotella... it just helps lube ur moter... now to strong of a mix might make ya smoke blueish haze but it wouldnt be a bad engine sign just ur fuel mix is a lil rich... i usually run a half ga to a full 36 ga tank of fuel and im fine
