Need Advice
I just "inherited" my ex's 2003 24V Turbo cummins 6spd dually. He did not take care of it! I know the injector pump was replaced, however I am in the process of replacing the injectors. I have to say working on a diesel is a blast! My question is, after I replace the injectors and flush the radiator system, is there anything else I should check/replace before driving it. Yes, I have new injector tubes.
Cool female mechanic!
fuel filter and oil change wouldn't hurt! then it's off to the races!
If the power bug bites you ask away I'm sure there are a few diesel nuts in your part of the country that would love to point you in the right direction!

ddmowdy,
The fuel filter is right of the engine when looking at the motor from the front of the truck. Look for a black round top that is make of plastic. Screw the top off and the fuel filter is attached to it. I think it takes a 1 1/8 socket if it is screwed on tight. Good Luck, it is a very simple swap...
