IM TRIEN TO REBUILD MY TRANNY WHICH IS AND 96 DODGE NV4500 BUT I TOOK MOST OF IT APART AN CANT GET THE GEARS OUT NEED HELP...AN CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING ON HOW TOO IS THERE AN VIDEO OR A SITE TO FIND OUT HOW...ALL THE BOLTS R OUT THE TRANNY AN DONT KNOW WHAT IS LEFT TO DO...

 

you have to take the input shaft out first then take the rear main shaft brearing out then you can remove the main shaft

 

Just did it , and he's right.

 

u talking about the thing that looks like a disk on the rear...cust i tried gettiong it off. but look to have sum kind of screw in it that i cant get out

 

IM TRING TO GET THE FORK THING OFF THE BACK BUTTOM OF TRANS AN IT WANT *** OFF,,,IM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG

if you mean the 5th gear shift fork there is a roll pin that holds it on

 

ok thanks ill check it out i seen two hols on it but did not no how to take the **** off
