have a buddy with a 05-07 truck you could borrow the fca off of since it only takes a few min to change?

what is your lift pump pressure? Lope? Is the idle going up and down?
What is your fuel rail pressure at idle? Should be round 9,000 lbs.

By lope I mean my truck sounds like it has a cam in it. How would I check lift pump pressure or fuel rail pressure.

lift pump press can be checked with a mechanical guage but the rail pressure will have to be checked with a scan tool
