Default dodge 3500 transfercase question
im getting a parts 3500 dodge cummins with a 5speed will the transfercase fit on a 2wd 2500 transmission or no?

no im pretty sure the 2wd nv4500's have a longer mainshaft and a different housing on the rear. its a decent project to turn a 2wd transmission into a 4wd transmission

what kind of tranny am i going to be looking for?

Why not just swap in the the 3500 5 speed and transfer case?

he needs the tranny for his Scout so he is just giving me the transfercase
