white smoke
2002 chevy 6.6- white smoks driving down the road at 65+-. sputters when it does. bad clater when just driving or idaling. anyone got any ideals on whats up? it dont go away after warm up. temp is also about 144-160 on scaner but 190 on my gauge.
Technically, the only things covered by the warranty are fuel-diluted oil due to a cracked housing or if there are high return rates.
As the unglued dude said, all of the trucks that would have been built with this style injector (LB7) are all out of warranty regardless of mileage now.

I purchased my 2003 in January 2010 with 171k. It was a smoker so I took it to the dealer to verify the cause and warranty coverage. I was told that problematic injectors had extended coverage to 200k or 6 years. I missed the extension by a few weeks due to the date that the truck was purchased. They might all be out of date by now.
