How much have yall' been having to shell out for a nice OEM or better paint job? I got quoted $3500 and that doesn't include fixing a couple of small dings!

 

I have not looked into it personally but that sounds about right for a paint job.

But I would get several quotes from different shops.

 

if you have a maaco close i would take it there, ya its cheap but you cant paint your truck 7 times before taking it to a place for 3500

 

If 3500 really is the going rate it'll be awhile before my truck gets painted. I've thought about maaco but didn't want to cheap out on this tuck. I want it to look like it just rolled off the showroom floor .

 

if you want it to look real good, then get there like 1500 dollar paintjob, i have a neighbor that has drag cars and show cars and thats where he takes all his cars and damn they look nice

 

maaco will do a good looking job.... my buddy has a camaro he had done there....looked awesome ( it was black) but he got rear ended at 2mph...it didnt dent or ding the bumper.....but the paint spider webbed,,,and continued to spider web the entire rear quarter panel.

 

paint it yourself dents are easy to fix rust holes are a step up and spraying paint and how to do it and mix it is staright foward and prep the body good befoore you shoot it
