Default Trailer brake questions???

Is my 95 wired from the factory for a trailer brake? I see the big ole white plug, but it looks different than my 02. The previous owner had a brake control of some sort, but cut the wires, there still there, that's what I'm confused about. If the plug is there, why do some hard wiring??

Thanks as always, your info is always appreciated

Doubt it was wired from the factory like a 24v is. However if you have wires cut just test em and do some hard wiring.

Haha I understand that. It is pretty straight forward testing wires. Should be able to knock it out in an hour. If you do decided to do this I suggest solder and shrink tube.
