ATTN 96 to a 95 motor swap

OK HERE IS THE DEAL. I HAVE A 95 2500 CUMMINS WITH A BLOWN MOTOR, IT HAS A FIVE SPEED MANUAL TRANS. I ALSO HAVE A 96 3500 CUMMINS AUTO TRANS. WITH A GOOD MOTOR. I WANT TO PUT THE 96 MOTOR IN TO THE 95 2500. CAN I DO THIS AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE INJECTOR PUMP? THANKS FOR THE HELP.:c

Yes, it can be done without any problems. Exact same motors. The horsepower rating might be different between the years and/or transmission (auto, manual).

The more I think about it Im pretty sure the hp rating does go up in 96 pumps. But this is a good thing, right?
