Default nv4500?

how long should it take to put a nv4500 4x4 back in a truck? and should it slide right back in easy?

make sure clutch is in lign (spline align) take the bell housing off from transmission mount that first to the motor i always tq to 95lbs thats just me though. then slide your transmission in bolt crossmember up slide drive shaft in then check fluids then put ur shifter assembly together then bleed the clutch start the truck up and go

those cross members are a pain. i use a porta-power to spread the frame rails back apart n then it slides right back into place

yeah cross members squeeze in there pretty tight. dodge made that way to try to be tough like a ford frame ha ha jk but most people dont have a porta power sittin around but a hammer works real nice

me and my bro can do it in about 2.5 hours the hardest part is getting the cross member back in ours needs a bfh beating ours is 2x4 tho im sure 4x4 is more difficult but not much

will the cross member was easier than i thought we did it by hand for the most part. but now the oil drain tube is leaking oil because i broke the gasket and now im going to use rvt to fix it. is that a good idea????
