Default what gears on 35's

i just put 35x12.5 tires on my truck and i was wondering what gearing i should do since i have stock gears. i have the A518 transmission and you probably could of guessed its 4x4. what is a better choice 4.11s or 4.56s please respond thanks

I'm running 4:10 with 40" tires and I like that if u go on Richmondgear.com u can find gear calculators

So do you have 4.10 or 3.55 or 3.07 now? Buddy of mine runs 3.55 in a 5spd and was running 37s with no issues and ~17-19mpgs, Another guy runs 4.10 on 285s and he's running it pretty hard at 65+. Is this a dd, trail toy, dedicated puller or what. All that will make a differance in your gear choice.

The guy running the 285s which tranny does he have manual or auto? I have 3.55s, 5spd and 265s and plan to bump up to 285s next.

If u have a Manuel with 4.10 35" tires u will be doing 1929 rpm at 70 mph

5spd club cab 4x4 and she sounds like the motor is going to come out of the truck on the interstate. The other truck he recently dropped down to 255 tires and it still looks good with his 4" lift.

i have the stock 3.55s now and im leaning towards 4.11s

My buddy had 4.10 with 35" tires and he still got 20mph but that was a second gen but he had 370 injectors and he liked the gearing
