Started loosing boost checked my turbo and not spinning freely anymore has side to side and end to end play lost 4-5 pounds. Anyway I got a spare off a 94 I'm gonna stick on that's in better shape for the time being. I'm on a budget and I know I can get the rebuild kit for 50 ish. I am happy with performance for what I use the truck for but was considering the hybrid if I could get it done for a descent price of would it be too much for me. My truck is used for work and work. it tows or hauls that's it's life. I have a geo to drive daily. So should and can I just rebuild or try something else.

 

If the set up works well, and isn't constantly failing, I would leave it the way it is. How many miles on the turbo that is failed?

 

360k on truck it's the same one that's been on the truck since I've had it for three years. looks original maybe but I doubt it
