Default 01 concerns

Im looking at a 01 cummins quad cab sb 6 spd. My concerns is that the guy is running a quad adrenaline with 200 hp sticks, single disc clutch rated at 600hp. And fass fuel system. My only real concern is he's running stock turbo?? Would it be ok to run this setup. Runs box off or as high as lvl 5. Just needing all info if anyone is running the same setup. Don't wanna get it if its gonna bej a death trap later on.

With all that fuel, and a stock turbo, the EGT's could go very high. Probably as high as 2000*! You won't get the most potential out of all that fuel without more air, and if not careful you could damage the engine or turbo wirh high EGT's. I'm not too sure about the Quad that is on that truck, biut some have backdown options. You could set it to defuel when it gets hot, 1300*. Depending on the brand of 200's will determine how hot and smokey the engine will run.

Ok.. I appreciate the input. I've drove the truck and ran the box on lvl 10 and the egt's didn't peak but a lil over 1400 when I got on it hard. Idk if maybe he's got just a cheaper injector or what. Bc I've drove a truck with the same setup but had 150's and the egts got about the same and it smoked more

Sometimes adding more fuel with not enough air will put the fire out.

Ok.... also at idle I also noticed the rpm jumping up and down. It was up and down by like a 100. Could this be a sign of vp goin out or is it just using that much fuel with the bigger injectors.

Thats most likely because of over fueling... Thats a ton of fuel for a stock turbo. As stated above, probably very High EGTs, and real smokey.
