hey there anybody know how to check these pumps on a 03 cummins can you just listen for the fuel pump what about the lift pump where is it and what does it do my truck died and i want to know how to check for fuel before looking elsewhere?

 

best thing i know of is a fuel pressure gauge to make sure the pump is putting out the proper amount, just because the pump turns on doesnt mean that its working 100%
