I was just wondering if anyone knows what the black box in the dash behind the glove box does mine is unpluged?

Might be your RWAL ABS controller; I unplugged mine to get the brake light to go out (bad vehicle speed sensor and I was short on money) it was a short fix; it's now lit up b/c of a low vacuum warning... Cant win...

Only if you want ABS. A lot of folks unplug it and do just fine without it. Just remember that you don't have it and could easily lock the rear end up and you'll have no worries!

Mine was unplugged when i bought my truck figured out what it was and how much a new one is and its just fine as it is! Truck does fine without it

I figure I will be fine since I just found it yesterday and its been unplugged the hole time I have owned it and I have had it about a year and a half now.

Mine stops better with it unhooked and the valve in the back by passed....
