Default front axle leak

im leakin oil out of the axle tube on the drivers side. i already know i need axle joints and was going to do them both at the same time. i cant seem to get the seal anywhere. when i searched i came across a thread saying it might be at the pumpkin and i need a spreader for it. anyone have any experience with these seals?

front seals are on the inside of diff.carrier assembly needs to be removed.special tool needed to press in seals.not sure if anyone has found some way to install without it.would recommend doing both seals when your in there.dont think you need a spreader.

I pretty sure for the drivers side seal the differential doesnt have to come out. Just pop the axle out and change it. The passenger side tho, there is a c clip holding the inner axle shaft in because it is a two piece axle shaft. Consider yourself lucky it only the drivers leaking

i just changed both front axle joints. i opted out of changin the seals for now. niether axle had the clip so it was easy. i have drivin it 4 hours without a drip. maybe my out of balance shaft made it leak. both seals were inside. not a project i could do right then. anyway so far so good.
