ok truck is doing something wierd, the interior light instead of dimming and going out it goes off like hooked to a light switch. I still have the factory batteries so i know it is about due to replace. the truck still starts fine just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

 

i never had your problem but had 1 battery go bad on my 08.

 

Wouldn't think it would be the battery to cause that, I'm no master electrician but may be a simple relay that's gone out, are they regular bulbs or led bulbs?

 

well it was the battery it finally went bad enough to change it so 5 years on factory batteries isn't bad

 

Did you change both of them? I am still running my battery that came in my 03 jot the truck in July of 03 so good so for.

 

i did change both but just because a already had 2 yellow tops in the garage. the other battery was fine

 

i replaced my other battery 6 months after i replaced the first one. my sons 2005 impala has the factory delco battery.
