I would install a 2 micron fuel filter. This will greatly extend the life of your injectors.

Ditto on the filter, if you install an aftermarket lift pump, which I recommend sooner than later, it should come with a 4 or less micron filter. Make sure to get a pyrometer gauge when you install the programmer, if it does not already have one with the kit.

U-joints, front axle ends and water pump also come to mind. Wouldn't be a bad idea to carry a spare serpentine belt too.

Check the front end (ujoints, balljoints, steering parts, wheel bearings), an aftermarket lift pump and filter will help, no one lubes the zerk fitting on the front driveshaft so check that and fill it up with grease (good luck finding it). That should be about it. Whenever I buy a vehicle I check and replace all the fluids making sure the engine doesn't have 90wt gear oil to cover up a leak or problem.
