lowering the idle
so i had this idea the other day, and i want to lower my idle so it lopes more. i know its fake but eventually im going to do a cam to make it real but i wondering if it was even possible and how to do so
It will only lope a little but but you need to watch your oil pressure and make sure it don't stall when you put it in drive it's probably not a good idea it will also be a pain to get started when cold, also a cam won't make it lope, a lot of timing and fuel does
yeah my idle is a little low(bout' 400-450 at idle)its not a good idle speed. It dropped over time i guess,Im going to turn it back up.like Dbogo said just turn up timing.good luck.
