I posted a thread about a week ago With a trouble code I could not figure out P0148 fuel delivery error. Well I think we finally found the problem. And I can tell you I will never replace injectors in a 3rd generation diesel again without replacing the fuel injector connecting tubes as well. The truck would start and run fine. I let it idle for an hour and it would not set the code but as soon as you hit the road and loaded the engine the code would set. I just installed new tubes and test drove it and it appears to be fixed. If it is not I will be sure to report it. Thanks for all the help Diesel Bombers.

 

Sometimes I wonder if they get damaged during the process or if there is a flaw that prevents them from otherwise sealing correctly...mine are original and have been in and out no less than four times, and they are still going 100k later.
