first you need a Air Dog, Raptor or Fass fuel system to keep the VP44 happy, the edge juice with attitude will cover your gauges. As far as injectors and a turbo goes it depends on what you plan on using the truck for. There are lots of great guys here that will help you with that info. good luck on your build buddy!

well like i said before it all starts with a lift pump, such as an Air Dog, Fass or Raptor. you will need the fuel to keep the VP happy, and to keep up with the juice and injectors, the stock lift pump just wont cut it at all

Need fuel first,if that's more than you want to take on then I'd sell it and buy something newer with more power.

Second Gen trucks are great, after you fix the things that should have been done right from the start, put a fuel pressure gauge on it,or it will cost you a $1200 injection pump.

Like stated above lift pump is number one. For injectors I would stay in the 100 to 150 hp range and for a good turbo a s300 should do you good. But you need to search around and see what other people have to say about their setups. Good luck to you and welcome to DB.

If you just want to haul with it don't waste your money on injectors or a turbo until they need replaced. I have an 07 with stock turbo, all the mods in my sig and it pulls great. How many miles on your truck? I realize the 07 has more power, but depending on what you want to haul you might be fine. I'd suggest you let the truck breathe first with an intake, exhaust and gages (get the edge for the gages if thats what you want). I can let you know how well the 99 pulls when I get it on the road if you want. Like everyone else said get an upgraded lift pump first. I put the fuel pressure gage on the 99 and it is barely getting 5psi going down the road with the stock set-up. It is not hard to install and will save you money and fuel in the long run.
