Default 1983 f250

i had an auto tranny in my f250 switch it out and put a 4 speed in it and the wiring on the 4 speed does not match up to the wirring that came off the auto

nope. so what u asking? how to wire it up?

the NSS(neutral saftey switch) will need a jumper wire and the reverse wires will need to be pluged into the trans. if possible get the harness off a 4 speed truck. it plugs into the main harness on the driverside framerail.

yea would i wire in or buy somthing to hook into my old reverse wire. but now my only problemb besides that is my trucks tranny and 4x4 is in and bolted up but my truck wont even turn over the only thing i didnt do was hook my clutch wires up and put the slave cylindes on my tranny.

wont turn over due to the neutral saftey switch. down on the wiring harness to the trans will be 4 wires. 2 of them have to be looped together(nerutral saftey switch) and the other two go to your reverse switch. i cant remeber what colors the wires are, and it is raining now to go out and look at mine.
one thing you can do is take the NSS off the auto trans, plug it back into the harness and put it in the park position. then the truck should start. will still have to wire in reverse lamps.
