I took my truck on about an hour long drive today runnin around 75-80 most of the time and when I would hit decent sized hills it sounded as if my turbo was backfiring, I doubt that is the correct term for the noise but I was wondering if anyone else has heard it? It sounds kind of like a blow off of some sort. It is completely stock besides an AFE Intake.

 

know exactly what your talkin about its the throttle blade on the driver side bolts to your intake horn mine did the same thing had dodge stumped for 3 weeks there is a flat blade inside there that flaps shut then i found a delete and i knew i hadnt deleted that yet so went ahead and done it and prob solved

 

Where did you find the delete kit for it?

 

ebay for like 20 or 30 bux but if your truck is stock you might do some checking to make sure its nothing important for the emissions crap

 

Ok, well I plan on deleting everything here pretty soon anyways so I will prolly just do it then. Thanks for the tip.
