Default {{{HELP PLEASE}}} replace 2004 fuel injector 6.0

Hello, im having trouble finding information on the site on how to change an injector in my 04' f350 6.0 powerstroke. If anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

What do you need to know? What side of the motor is it on (passenger or drivers?). It's different process for each side. Passenger side is more of a PITA.

i think the driver side is more of a pita. you have to remove more junk.

but yes, it does matter what side it is on.

on the pass side, take of the intercooler pipe, undo the glow plug wire off of the battery, take the glowplug module off, unplug the glow plug wiring harness, and pull the wire harness back onto the top of the motor.remove the valve cover, remove the oil rail, which is a real pita on the pass side, pull the injector. not that hard to do, just time consuming and stressfull

The heaterbox doesn't restrict work area on the passenger side? I think you're the only person I've ever heard say the drivers side is more of a PITA.

both sides are a mojor pita. the 03-early 04 are easier imo. u still cant get a torque wrench down in there to get to the bottom two, but the straight bar design is easier to do. now on the 04 and up, its harder to get in there, because of the design of the oil rail.

on a 03, it takes me bout 30 minutes less to do the injectors on the pass side.
