Default 06 cummmins smoke in morning

fired up truck today and noticed it smoking for about 3-5 seconds Never had this happen before. I had straight pipe until yesterday when i got a banks muffler put on Do you think its something with the muffler causeing the smoke or something else?

You have a bad injector! Pull them out and send them for testing before you melt something!

no it looked white. I just dont understand cause never happened till i put muffler on yesterday

It could possible a coating or something off the muffler burning. I have seen exhaust pipes and stuff do this before. I would give it a day or two with a couple of heat cycles before I would worry

man i hope thats all it is Im driving this truck 3000 miles in 3 months with a three year old i cant have it break down

I'm sure they coat them with somthing to prevent rust till installed.

White smoke means you have a low compression...I have had the same thing happen to me in the morning when the temperature is cooler outside, but nothing to worry about.
