PULLING motor.apart to do head gasket. How do you get the last 4 pushrods out???

 

There is a hole in cowl above, just lift threw hole and turn and pull out. It stumped me for a while to. there may be insulation in way.

Yeah they can be kinda tricky. They stumped me the first go around as well

 

My local diesel guy told me before i did it... thank goodness cause this redneck would've never figured it out..

 

I'm sitting there looking at the rods and I'm like this is typicall car manfs... can't do anything without taking up the cab ! Lol just like a 6.0 I wouldn't of found it. Lmao. Turns out head good after185 k . Gasket aroumd water jacket let go n was leaking externally . Can't wait to get it back together n beat it some more ! Thanks bombers!
