Default 4k gsk plate or no plate

Im installing my head studs, 4k kit, valve springs and hx35/40 hybrid this weekend I was thinking about taking my plate out but my buddy said not to because it would ruin my governor springs and he said that delivery valves would make a good difference to, what do yall think?

Yank it out! ive been running it plateless for about 8 months and cant be happier! a 4k gsk kit will make it alot more responsive as well

If he takes the plate off, what kind of gas mileage will he decrease and will his trans slip too much?

all depends on your right foot when you have the plate out

well with a stock auto trans, i was thinking about taking my plate out but i drive over 100 miles every day so the gas mileage is a bigger deal. if i drive normally, without smoking ricers, what kind of mileage can i expect. i get 17 now

same.... it's only your foot that limits rack travel... but not limited to the plate anymore...

i get better mileage with my #0 because when i want to save fuel i get less on it
