Default 05 6.0 wont start when warm p2291?

my truck wont start when its been warmed up to normal operating temp., my bullydog gt telling me its injection control pressure low-cranking. I think that my hpop is going out? or could it be a sensor, its also thrown the crankshaft position sensor code also....Ive deleted egr, studded it, ....everything in the 6.0 solution package and now this. I like to run on high setting for mileage as well as power, what do u guys think is the problem, today I sat for 3 hours, it cooled off and then after a quick nap it fired right up. I drove it home let it idle for awhile shut it off then started it up right away and it craked alittle longer than it should have but fired up, but if i shut it down for 10 min its crankin and crankin i dont know?

You have a leak on the high pressure oil somewhere. The best way to trace it down is to air test it. You will need some form of computer control to do this, like Autoenginuity or IDS or something. Usually the ICP sensor is removed from the passenger side valve cover (on 05+ trucks) and you can put shop air to it, then comman the IPR valve closed with the computer and listen for leaks.

My guess is STC fitting, as that is very common, there is an upgrade available.

Either way, it definitely sounds like a high pressure oil issue. The oil when cold is thick so the truck will start, as it warms up the oil thins out and starts leaking and wont build pressure, and all of a sudden truck wont start...

STC fitting, 05s are notorius for this, its an easy fix, bout 8 hours for the do it yourselfer, got to take out the intake because the hpop sits under the turbo pedestal. the fitting is on the back of the pump that sits under a cover

Need more info. Throwing parts at it usually doesn't fix it. Test, verify, repair. Any codes coming up? What are the symptoms? What mods on truck? What year truck, how many miles, how is it used?
