So I got my edge hooked up and AD150 and Im popping my waste gate at 31 psi. My turbo is untouched and no mods. It seems a little high, not that im complaining but i didnt think an HY35 would get that. What do you guys think? Ive heard of people j hooking and plugging there HX35 and getting that but mine is untouched. Is this normal or am I lucky?

 

My 2001 HO with edge, intake and 4" exaust runs 32 under load. And it has 210k with no problems on turbo or motor.

 

I could only get 26 with the W/G on, and 31 PSI with it plugged.

 

put a mechanical boost gauge on it to know for sure what it's making. my edge read low when I added a mechanical boost gauge with my 62 and 110's the edge said 36 mechanical said 48

 

Without a J-hook I can only get 18psi. I would suspect your wastegate is stuck shut.

 

with a EJWA on my old stock hy35 i got 40 on a external gauge..... than it blew up

 

my mechanical gauge shows my waste gate dumpin about 32 lbs with stock turbo... everything seems to be runnin fine

 

On my 02 I had the edge comp stacked with bully dog outlook and j-hook with the waste gate plugged and I was getting 43psi on the mechanical... I don't trust the chips reading it said 38psi

 

Well I am goona post a pick I got 38psi on my edge. I took a pic last night. I just think thats crazy with a un molested HY 35.

 

Maybe the EDGE is jacked up
