Default 07 5.9 Electronic throttle?

Not sure what it's called but when i rev my truck up to about 3-4 grand it takes forever for the RPM's to drop. I've heard someone talk about it but can't remember what it's exactly called and wondering if there is a way to shut it off?

Just normal throttle hang. Even with my smarty the pedal is still lazy. Kinda stuck with what u have but I'm wondering if efi live can help with it.

it doesn't hang, just the RPMs come down slow, like instead of revving and letting off the throttle and them dropping immediately, it takes about 2-3 seconds to come down, and they come down at a steady rate, but they don't hang anywhere

Thats because the 97 was mechanical... It did what your right foot did not what the right foot tells the computer who in turn tells the truck what to kinda do
