Well every startup the check engine light flashes on in my dad's 04 (see sig). But when I do the key code check, it comes up done and then the light goes out. Drive around, come home. Go out next time to startup and it does the same thing. It doesn't bring up any codes, and no signs of trouble, but it's just real annoying . Any ideas?

Is this a new thing? Everytime I start my 05 it comes on then goes off with all the other dash lights during normal starting.

 

yeah heck man every bad light possible comes on when i go to start my truck, tho things usually run fine for me.... same every time...

 

no it stays on ya nincampoops. But thing is it just bugs me cuz I look over and see it. I'm glad mine doesn't have any of them stupid code thingys

 

My 05 has done it since day one, no problem.

 

take it to the auto parts store and have em scan it

 

well,whenever it does it, I do the crank the key three times deal and nothing comes up and it goes away.
