Help
I just bought my first diesel, it's a 2004 ford F250 6.0. I've had it 4 days, I changed the fuel filters this morning and now it is having trouble shifting no power and blowing black smoke. Any advice would be helpful.
if its blowing smoke it's gettin fuel. not enough air to burn it though. i dont know as much about 6.0's as some of the guys on here but i'll try to help with the basics until they chime in. how's your air filter? any restrictions to the turbo? is the turbo spooling?
if I try to excellarate fast and when I let off and I get rpm's but no power, and when it finally gets to 50 mph the truck starts shaking bad

Check your intercooler boots with a fine tooth comb, I bet you have a cracked/blown boot somewhere. Quite common. Your shaking at speed is probably an injector or multiple injectors sticking. Try ordering some Rev-X oil additive and see if it goes away. If it does, definitely sticky injectors, if not, something else, but the Rev-X is easy to try and wont hurt anything either way.
thanks for the help, I still need more, so I brought the truck to a diesel shop and they said that I need new injectors: 3100 more dollors. Could this be the cause or am I getting used? This shop has already got me for 2 grand and I am starting to wonder. HELP!!!!!! and if I find out that I am getting used is there something that I can do leagally?

Already told you what to check. It's clear this shop has no clue what they're doing and are just throwing parts at it.
Black smoke is unburnt fuel, as in you're not getting enough air. You either have a leak somewhere or the turbo is sticking.
TEST, VERIFY, REPAIR
DO NOT THROW PARTS AT IT.
