Are there any important recals on the LLY? Did Chevy fix the injector issue that they had on the LB7's?

 

the LLY doesn't suffer from injector failures, however it does have issues with Induction Overheating, changing your turbo mouthpiece will help, but its not a 100% fix, the changes made to the LBZ fixed the Induction Overheating

 

why doesn't it fix the prob? i was under the impression the if you change the MP and reroute the PCV and block EGR the induction prob would subside

 

It alleviates the problem but it doesn't entirely fix it, the LBZ uses a different rad, the turbo is more efficient, there are a few other things that i can't remember, the mouthpiece helps, but it doesn't 100% fix it, water(only) injection would also be a good addition to help cool intake temps

 

sounds like a larger intercooler, intake, turbo, MP, Exhaust, PCV Re-route, and GER blocker with finger stick. anything to cool intake air and EGT's should be something to "possibly" fix the prob, or at least be a means to an end.
