we just bought a 2008 3500 DRW with around 80,000 some odd miles and its calling for the dealer cleaning...is there anyway i can do this my self cuz i hate dealing with the damn dealer BS....

well no, because the turbo is clogged up and probably the dpf too, i'd ditch the emission equipment and you'll be happy soon

 

its the company work truck they dont really wanna do that ****...if it was 100% mine ___ yea i would delete it and all that good stuff ya know.....

 

If its saying "Filter clogged see manuel" just go for a ride on the hi way.Thats what the manuel is going to tell you,it will clear in a fue miles max.

 

it might be the egr cleaning deal my friend has a 08 put about 70k on it took it to the dealer one day said it ran like crap they told him the egr sytem needed to be cleaned about every 60k they worked there dirty magic and he says it runs good now

 

its calling for service between 80,000-90,000. what can i do myself other than delete the crap?

 

spray the entire engine compartment with gas (not diesel) light a match and buy a Ford.
