Default fuel economy

i have an 01 24v H.O. cummins with bigger turbo bullydog outlook 5 inch turbo back exhuast and 6 spd manual tranny. it has a 6 inch suspension lift with 37 inch tires and stock gears. its a long bed quadcab and im trying to get better fuel economy without paying a whole lot of money you know? i have been thinking bout dropping the gears a bit and it needs a clutch. is there any ideas? id realy apreciate the ideas thanks guys!

Do you have Injectors? If not a set of RV injectors will help you squeak alittle bit more out of it.

No they a set of RV 275 would be a few hundred bucks and you can do it yourself in a about 2 hours or so

the tires i run are very cheap so i am trying to avoid downsizing tires. what rpm do ya'll run ur trucks at? and whats the HP rating on the RV275's? thanks

i went from the factory 245-75-16's up to a 285-75-16 and noticed a hair better milage it dropped my rpm at 70mph

i turn around 1800 at 75 mph down the black top but i do not have an acurate odometer or speedometer. i rely on my programer to tell me my speed. anybody know were i could get the different gears in the speedometer cable on the transmission end so that my odemeter and speedo would be accurate? thanks for the help
