Default fuel plate question

i just read in the new diesel power magazine that you can move the fuel plate forward to give you more power and turning the starwheel towards the passenger side to bring on fuel quicker. also it said to remove the fuel plate from the injection pump. the last tip was to clamp the blue hose of the wastegate shut. the magazine recommended these tips and said it would bring on approximately 100 hp. has anyone tried this or even hear of it? im concerned with protecting the turbo due to clamping the wastegate but the rest sounds promising. help would be appreciated.

That article is not for a CP engine. Sorry, wont work for you.

the new engines offer no free power.

He is talking about moving the fuel plate and turning the star wheel that cannot be done on a CR, the article that he is talking about refers to the 12v with the P-pump
