Default Pickup surging

Well, my 03 is surging when i give it anything more than 1/4 throttle. It started doing this after I replaced my injectors and put an airdog 150 on it. I put the drawstraw at the back of the tank(maybe a little 2 far back not really sure?) If the tank is full it doesn't do it to bad but the lower it gets the worse. 1/2 tank it does it and at 1/4 tank you can barely touch the throttle without it acting up. It seems as if It's running out of fuel which I know shouldn't be the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check the draw straw to make sure you don`t have a bad one
also check the cut you put in it, then check all fittings to ensure they are not leaking
you could alsocheck out a sump for your tank

I'll pull my tank tomorrow and check it I think I'm going to move it to the middle anyways. Also i'm only getting 14 mpg's now where before I was getting 20, and that was with injectors so bad it wouldn't start at all without ether.

Ok I pulled the tank out and checked the draw straw, It looked ok. I had some of the 1/2 in. hose left over from splicing the fuel lines and I slid It over the draw straw to eliminate any pinhole leaks that could be there. it's a little better now but still does it at 1/8 tank now. does anybody else have any ideas because i'm getting tired of working on it starting to make me think i have my ol' 6.5 chevy back again . i was told maybe it was an injection pump which if it is does anybody know where a 12v is and the best way to go about putting that in there .

Fuel pressure gauge is your friend and how far off the bottom of the tank is it?

It's almost touching the bottom. maybe 1/4 inch off. It runs great at 3/4 tank or more though that's what i don't understand some people say ip but that wouldn't matter with constant flowfrom the tank.
