I wanted to change my 91 7.3 to an electric pump and bypass my mechanical to help with blead off issues. A good friend and great machanic told me that it would not make any difference. Also I replaced all my glowplugs but cannot get power to them. I have battery voltage at relay and 11.47volts at small terminal on relay with my key on. Does this mean my relay is bad. My WTS light only stays on for 5 sec. And last but not least I cannot get my fuel filter housing to stop leaking where the wire for the pre-heater hooks in. 3rd oring and still no luck. What is my best route to fix because it is nearly impossible to find replacement parts. Any help would be greatlt appreciated because the ole beater is starting to get the best of me

 

Try jumpimg the relay, like you would the starter relay. My relay went out and I jumped it and it worked. Just jump it for 15-20 seconds and try to start.
