I have a 05 dodge 4 door 4wd and I need to know which tires would be the best to get. Right now I've 315/70R/17 all terrains. But, I want a wider and not so tall tire. Just don't want street tires. Either all terrains or a little bit of aggressive tire is what I am looking for. Let me know what size and brand y'all think would be the best.

I've got Nitto Terra Grapplers on mine and I really like them, not very aggresive, but not a mini van tire either. This is my first set so I dont know how long they will last but they seem to have great reviews anywhere you look. Plus they are a very smooth rolling, great handling, and quiet on the road tire. If they dont wear out to fast I would buy them again. Im having a brain fart....I have 285 XX 20s on mine

 

What transmission?

Toyo makes a 295/70 17 MT that is perfect for the auto but a little short for the manuals. The tire is great for traction, wear, and noise. The AT's are not working for me, going back to the MT's.
