Default blue smoke after replacing turbo

my old turbo went out and i had to get another one. the one i have now is new and there was some oil in intake when i put the other one on. it will blow blue smoke after it gets warm and when i get down on it the blue smoke turns to black and then when im just cruising its a constent blue smoke which is oil burning. The engine isn't burning oil so im wondering is it the oil burning that was in the intake from other turbo?? What do i do?

It's possible the new turbo has a bad seal. Have you tried cleaning the CDR yet?

i tore it apart and theres on one rubber seal in it and its on the compression side theres only a snap ring on the turbine to hold oil in ? and when i put it back together it felt tighter maybe it was put together poorly
