I just found an 06 for $24k and an 08 for $29k they are both shortbed, 4x4, four door, black, six speeds, one has the 5.9 with 90k miles on it and the other has the 6.7 with 75k miles on it other than the the options are the same... anybody have ideas as to if these are good prices?and good or bad problems with these years?

 

6.7s are junk in general in my opion. especially the earlier ones. Dad had an 06 that was kind of a pile. My buddy also had an 06 that continually fell apart.

 

well iknow this much but i dont really plan on bombing it just want a four door dodge diesel for family traveling

 

PERSONALLY I'd go with early 04 or 03, but thats just my opinion. They seemed to run so much better stock than the newer ones. But like I said, this is just all my opinion.
