Question Where do i get this gasket???

My truck is leaking antifreeze, and i think its either the water pump gasket, or the housing that the lower radiator hose connects to, could anybody tell me where i would get that housing gasket if you know what i'm talking about.

it may not be wat you think. i thought it was the same thing on my truck but it ended up being my head gasket. it blew on me and was leakin internally and externally. does your truck smoke abnormally?

I'm with Rusty on this one, check it all over very closely.
The lower housing is sealed to the block with a heavy rubber 'O' ring, in a stepped groove, and seldom ever leaks.
Of course, the water pump is known to spring a leak.

well, i'm not getting water in the oil, it doesnt smoke abnormally, and its only wet at the bottom bolt on the water pump and at that housing. Still sound like the head gasket?

Then it likely isn't the head gasket.
Problem is, you might have to take it clear apart to figure out what it actually is.

I wasn't trying to be doom and gloom on ya', but liquids like coolant and water can be real tricky to track a leak source, especially with numerous possible leak points in 1 small area.

i know what your sayin, i'll have to take it apart as soon as i can get to it, the wierd thing is that it only leaks when its cold, once it warms up then it doesnt leak.

hmm probly cuz when everythin warms up, whatever is leaking expands and stops the leak. its probly your water pump then.
