hey i just got a 96 3500 cummins nd was wondering if i can get a auto to manual swap kit for it.... if anyone can help me out let me know

 

Ive never seen an actual kit for this....but they may be out there.

 

mine is in process and close to complete

transmission I sourced failed but is under warranty

you will need; trans, bell housing, clutch master/slave, pedals, longer flywheel bolts, cross member with mount, lengthen drive line, ect

I got mine from viking truck salvage in redding ca I found them on parts.com I think

they also sent a steering wheel and column with the kit for some reason and a speedo for a manual that I did not use

you will need an old style transmission if you wish to use your speedo as the drive is on the tail housing (2wd), I think it is on transfer case with 4wd

I learned this the hard way and will have to replace the tail housing someday if I want a speedo or I may just use an hourmeter

I probably missed some stuff but that hits most of the high points

 

i just did this if urs is 4wd ull need the front driveshaft u wont need to lengthen the rear shaft. make sure the transmission has harness with it.
