i know someone that has a ppe i seems to be pretty good definetly better than the edge. But if i was you I would go with a SCT X3 custom tuned. Just because you can get it custom tuned however you want. I have one in my 04 f250 6.0 cc short bed and i cant believe the amount of power and the tranny tuning is great. I have my mine custom tuned my Eric at innovative. I have a extreme race, extreme street, and an agressive tow tune. I use race as a daily driver and i still get great fuel milage---AutoMerged DoublePost---
Also becaue PPE is a duramax tuner as Smarty is to cummins. SCT is ment for ford not PPE

ok so if i get the sct how do i get ahold of eric do i mail it to him or is it a download kinda thing sorry dont mean to sound like a dumb *** but im new to the custom tuned thing
if u order the sct from innovative u get 3 custom tunes for $80 otherwise its $135. and its fine i didnt know either. what you do is when you get it you get the stratagy codes off ur truck and you email them to eric at innovative. then you just tell him what you have into your truck and what tunes you want. Im currently running extreme street but also have extreme race and aggressive tow, although i havent tried the tow yet. but i love the extreme race and street. cant believe the power and still good mpg

edit: Just looked at the SCT website and the preloaded tunes allow EGR delete.
